If you've received this email it means you're in my address book. I am running the Dublin marathon on the 25th of October 2010 and am hoping to raise some money for two charities; Help for Heroes and Scope. Most of you will be aware of my connection to H4H, a charity very close to my heart, and will probably have heard of the great work that it does. You may not be quite as familiar with Scope, which helps individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy - my son Michael has cerebral palsy, therefore I considered it most appropriate to try and raise some money for them, too.


If you would like to sponsor me in my run then the two charities mentioned would be most grateful; if you already give to charity then I would be most grateful for any simple encouragement and moral support that you can offer me!
