Day 2 - A Song I hate - 30 Day song challenge.

There are a number of songs I could post here but I chose one that signifies all that is wrong with the charts these days. I chose Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah as its not a great version of a great song and symbolises the I can't write my own music so I will just sing someone else's material attitude prevalent these days in the Music industry where karaoke singers, and that's what the majority of them are, are favoured over bands with real musical talent.

As I said above there are a number of songs and bands which could have fit here. Oasis for example for their whiney tripe they bring out every so often. The Arctic Monkeys because they think just shouting is ok, Any number of Boy bands. But the Burke version of this song, and the fact it got to number 1, Annoys me a lot.

I refuse to actually post the Karaoke version by Burke so instead here is the definitive version of the song by Jeff Buckley. Enjoy…
