As promised here is an update on last weekends karting, as you can probably tell I didn't win. I did receive a 3rd place (out of 5) medal though, shame it was for the "B final" or as I prefer to call it the losers final. There are a few reasons why I didn't do so well, firstly I'm a bit of a coward when it came to going into the corners at speed, secondly in the semi finals I had a kart that didn't turn right very well which doesn't help on a right hand hair pin and also meant I had to slow right down at the corner before the bridge. Thirdly I was carrying more weight than everyone else and fourthly and most importantly I just wasn't very good, although I did manage to reduce my fastest lap time by 4 seconds over the 3 sections, qualifying, semis and B final. The most important thing is it was a great time and I enjoyed myself immensely.

As for the Chinese grand prix, in a day and age where team orders are banned and the FIA jump on everything they still allow the blatant letting through perpetrated by Ferrari. I realise its going to look like I dislike Ferrari but the truth of the matter is before Schumacher, Brawn and Todt started "bending" the rules and blatantly getting away with it, Ferrari were my favourite team. Sadly after those 3 left the underhand tactics seem to have continued being ably supported by the FIA.

Its little wonder that I'm not the only one who is fed up of watching decision making that is so obviously one sided, I just hope that who ever wins in brazil and takes home the world championship crown that it is won on the track and if Massa does win it, that it is not by the points margin he undeservedly gained in Belgium.

As always if you Disagree or even agree with me (its been known to happen occasionally) why not put your point across on the Away Goals Rule Football Forum, theres a few F1 fans there lurking in the Other sports section.
