Let the drivers gain a lot of time if they want but make them suffer with tyre wear if they do. I think they should move all the tyres down one notch then you get a battle between very fast aggressive drivers who need to make more stops and the more smooth drivers who do not have to stop as often.
I can only see the constructors title going one way now and that's back to McLaren. Red Bull had a massive advantage and haven't taken their chances and now McLaren have caught up they wont have as many chances as they have to be dominant any more. Further more Red Bull keep making mistakes and gifting points to McLaren which is fatal. One of the Red bulls might snatch the drivers title but I think its unlucky they will get many one-two's because of reliability problems and errors.
Lewis Hamilton drove a fantastic Grand Prix twice losing the lead to Alonso and re-passing him. It will be interesting in Valencia which is apparently another circuit suited to the Mclarens whether the Red Bulls can get enough to re-take the lead in the championship going into the British GP which is this season half way marker.
As someone who doesn't like Schumacher I have to say its fantastic to see him struggling and not just with a poor car but being resoundingly beaten by his team mate. Something is not right for Schumi thius season, whether the car isn't to his liking or he's not happy having a team mate who will job for him who knows but its nice to see :)
So Valencia in two weeks time willbe very interesting to watch, i for one hope the tyres fall away again.
