Wow what a Canadian grand prix we were treated to a couple of weeks back. Canada had everything, Safety cars, crashes, over taking, a red flag, team mates battling and a thrilling finish. Driver of the day was certainly Jensen Button. Button showed similar pace to Monaco where he was robbed from a victory by safety cars.
Button proved again in changeable conditions he is the master. He seemed to find pace no-one else could and despite making more stops than any of his rivals.
Michael Schumacher showed glimpses of his old self, no I don't mean he demeaned his team mate let him through. Canada was Schumis best race since his return. Jaime Alguersari had a great race after starting from the pits to obtain his best finish yet. This was also under massive pressure of being replaced. Liuzzi in a HRT out drove both Lotuses and Virgins to move them above Virgin in the table with his 13th place finish. Lewis Hamilton once again had a nightmare, managing toi run in to Webber and in to his team mate before retiring.
The Race started behind the safety car which seemed a little over safety conscious. Again after the red flag and restart by the time the cars had been released nearly every driver changed to Intermediates straight away which to me says they left it too long.
Anyway this weekend its Valencia and the European Grand Prix. Check back Friday for my Preview.
