It has been a very strange week this week with some stories more fitting to April 1st. It emerged this week a fan (of sunderland presumably) is suing Sunderland  after being hit in the face with a ball at a training session. This is absolute lunacy that they would dare do this. Its a training session, of course balls are going to be flying about. I hope they lose and Sunderland are awarded massive costs for this idiocy.

The FA once again proved themselves to be hypocrites of the highest order by banning Rooney  for 2 games for something that happens in every single game. The Premier league referees association think Lee Mason has been put under pressure to say he would have sent him off. He will be under immense pressure this week should any player swaer in his direction in the Blackpool v Arsenal game to give them a straight red. The FA will then be under pressure to ban that player for 2 games.

Jeff Winter claims rooney should get a 35 day ban as any park footballer would get. I suggest mr Winter respectfully takes his head out of his arse. He has obviosuly never seen a sunday league game if he thinks there aren't 10 incidents of foul and abusive language worse than Rooneys in the first 20 minutes of most Sunday league games. If Park footballers were banned for 35 days each time there would be no sunday league football as they would all be banned.

In other Hilarious news Joey Barton claimed he is Englands best midfielder. A statement so laughable i need not go into this further.

Chelsea were incensed that they didn't get a penalty in the champions league game against Man United in the week. To be fair they should have had a penalty, They should also have had Essien, and Ramires sent off for 2 yellows for bad fouls and got away with it and Torres off for 2 blatant dives.

Anyway here are my predictions this week

Saturday 9th April
Wolves  1 - 2  Everton
Blackburn  1 - 0  Birmingham
Bolton  1 - 0  West Ham
Chelsea  2 - 0  Wigan
Man Utd  3 - 0  Fulham
Sunderland  1 - 0  WBA
Tottenham  3 - 1  Stoke City

Sunday 10th April
Blackpool  1 - 2  Arsenal
Aston Villa  1 - 0  Newcastle

Monday 11th April
Liverpool  1 - 1  Man City
