Blackburn survived on the last day of the season last year and would have been nowhere near that position had they kept Allardyce. Promising defender Phil Jones has left and there are rumours defensive stalwart Chris Samba will be heading to Highbury which will leabve them weak at the back.

The owners keep making grand claims such as being in the Champions league oin 4 years. Personally I think they will be playing Championship football next season. There has been not a lot of backing for Steve Kean who is one of their problems. He seems to be a highly rated coach but as a manager he isn't good enough in my opinion and they will finish in the bottom three this season.

I don't expect Kean to be around by Christmas as his record so far is only marginally better than Paul Ince who was also terrible.

Betting

Blackburn Rovers range from 3/1 to 7/2 to be relegated this season and are 6^th favourites to be relegated this coming season. This seems a great bet as I’m sure they will be in the bottom three at the end of this season for the reasons listed above.
