The Fixtures for the new 2011/2012 Premier league football season have been released today and fans up and down the country will be looking at who their team plays when. This is a brief overview of some of the key weekends in the Premier League Season
The opening weekend seems to be a bit of a let down with no really big games. Spurs V Everton or Newcastle v Arsenal are likely to be the most interesting but only if Everton don't start poorly again

The Last day of the season sees the most likely title challengers face has Chelsea at Home to Blackburn, Man United away at Sunderland, Man City at home to QPR, Spurs at home to Fulham, Arsenal away at West Brom and Liverpool home to Sunderland. Among the potential relegation battlers a game that could have huge significance is Wigan v Wolverhampton where both teams could be needing a win

Of the teams hoping to be challenging for the title Manchester City appear to have the easiest run in with games against Norwich Away, Wolves Away, Man United at Home, Newcastle Away & QPR at Home who will be expected to pick up at least 12 points from 15. The other title challengers have run ins of varying difficulty.
Man United close out with Villa at Home, Everton at Home, Man City Away, Swansea at Home & Sunderland Away.
Chelsea Finish with Newcastle at Home, Arsenal Away, QPR at Home, Liverpool Away & Blackburn at Home.
Arsenal play games against Wigan at Home, Chelsea at Home, Stoke Away, Norwich at Home & West Brom Away.
Spurs play Bolton Away, QPR Away, Blackburn at home, Villa away & Fulham at Home.
Liverpool play Fulham at Home, West Brom at home, Norwich away, Chelsea at Home & Swansea Away.
