Mystic Jarv's predictions 7th May

Three weeks remain in the Premier league season and all is still to play for at both ends of the table. At the very top there is a massive game between Manchester United and Chelsea. If United win then they will effectively have won the title and only require 1 point from the last 2 games. If Chelsea win then they will go top on goal difference with 2 games to play.

The battle for fourth is almost over with Manchester City just about there and have a 7 point lead with 4 games left for them and Spurs. Spurs also need to pick up some wins or will not even manage 5th for a Europa league space.

At the bottom it is now realistically anyone from 6 who might be relegated. There is a big game between West Ham and Blackburn which West Ham have to win or they will be doomed. Wolves play West Brom who are now fairly safe although not mathmatically out of danger.

In the Championship QPR still don't know their fate or whether they will or will not be docked any points. This is shockingly late for the FA as this ought to have been sorted weeks ago. Its typical of the FA they leave it so late that it may affect the play offs and several other teams. I suspect they will get a fine and points docked but not enough to stop them being promoted automatically, just enough to stop them being champions. Still typically poor from the FA.

Anyway here are my predictions:

Saturday 7th May

Aston Villa 1 - 0 Wigan
Bolton 1 - 0 Sunderland
Everton 1 - 2 Man City
Newcastle 1 - 1 Birmingham
West Ham 1 - 0 Blackburn
Tottenham 3 - 1 Blackpool

Sunday 8th May
Wolves 1 - 0 WBA
Stoke City 1 - 3 Arsenal
Man Utd 3 - 1 Chelsea

Monday 9th May

Fulham 1 - 2 Liverpool
Tuesday 10th May

Man City 3 - 1 Tottenham
