So here we go the last week of the premier league season and any two of 5 teams will join West ham in being relegated. A win for either Wolves or Blackburn means they are safe however a draw could see both relegated. Blackpool travel to Old Trafford with a lot of controversy surrounding will Man United field a weakened team with the champions league in mind and will they get the same suspended fine Wolves and Blackpool got if they do. Wigan travel to Stoke who have little to play for other than pride. The remaining team who can still go down are Birmingham who have a tough trip to White Hart Lane. For what it is worth if my predictions go the way I have them Wigan and Blackpool will both be relegated. Birmingham would survive by just a solitary goal on goal difference.

Tottenham need to beat Birmingham to guarantee themselves Europa League football next season while Liverpool need to better Spurs in their trip to Villa if Tottenham do slip up. Both Arsenal and Manchester City can both finish third and avoid the Champions league play off. If both win the space goes to City as they have a point advantage. Like Liverpool, Arsenal need better City if Man City slip up.

The middle of the table is very close with 8 teams separated by only 4 points from 8th downwards and any one of them could secure a top 10 finish.

Here are my predictions for this Sunday.

Sunday 22nd May
Aston Villa 1 - 0 Liverpool
Bolton 1 - 2 Man City
Everton 1 - 1 Chelsea
Fulham 1 - 2 Arsenal
Man Utd 3 - 1 Blackpool
Newcastle 3 - 1 WBA
Stoke City 1 - 0 Wigan
Tottenham 3 - 1 Birmingham
West Ham 2 - 0 Sunderland
Wolves 2 - 0 Blackburn
