Obviously the big story this week was Keys and Gray being sacked/resigning. Well good riddance from the evidence that has come out its only a shame Sky didn't have the guts to do this a while ago. Some of the behaviour would have been an immidiate sacking on grounds of sexual harrasment. I can't believe anyone can actually defend them either. It's not banter its being abusive and bullying.

That said i'm not sure how we will cope now without Gray and Keys fawning over the same media darlings every week, stating the bleeding obvious and showing us 18 different camera angles of the same incident just to prove that it did indeed come off the leg of the Bolton player and should have beena  corner to Liverpool. You can probably tell i am being sarcastic. The danger is who do they get to replace them? My preference would be Jeff Stelling for all non-saturday games. He can't do Saturday games as Soccer Saturday wouldn't be the same if he left.

It is a massive shame for Sian Massey who has done nothing wrong to have to be withdrawn from 2 games due to the media interest in this. Hopefully for her sake it will all blow over soon

It was another interesting week in the transfer window. Chelsea bid £35 million for Torres which was turned down flat but then if you believe certain journalists Torres has asked Liverpool to listen to Chelsea's offers as he wants to have a chance of winning something. Torres has now handed in a transfer request which is a shame but interesting to see the Liverpool fans reactions who not so long ago were laughing at United and City fans over Rooney and Tevez wanting to leave.

Liverpool have Signed Luis Suarez for £23 million. He is a decent player who has tore up the Dutch league. The question is will he be more Kezman or Van Nistlerooy? He’s most well known of course for using his hands to deny Ghana a winning goal in the world cup then not leaving the Arena and celebrating like a nutter when the penalty was saved.

Sunderland are in talks to sign Sulley Muntari who has fell out of favour at Inter this season under both Benitez and Leonardo. This would be a really good signing for Sunderland and depending on the cost should still give them a decent amount of funds left over from Selling Bent to strengthen further. They have also denied trying to sign Ricardo Fuller, this is a good move as he would not improve the Sunderland attacking line in the slightest.

Edwin Van der Sar officially announced his retirement at the end of the season.  It's been fairly well known for a while i think and Alex Ferguson now has a monumental task finding a replacement. The last time this happened when Schmeichel was replaced there were some horrible decisions. United have already signed Anders Lindegaard and it will be interesting to see if he is it or whether there will be another keeper signed in the summer. For what it's worth as a United fan i hope another keeper is signed. A poor choice on keeper can cost a lot of points.
