Blood Bowl so far

Tournament Number 2 of the 2010 season, Named after its sponsor which was first mentioned in the Blood Bowl novels by Jim Forbeck (Well worth a read if you like blood bowl or the fantasy genre)

10 Game league season, each team plays the others home and away once, The top 2 play off for the trophy. The bottom 4 play in the DeathBowl

Ok so Blood Bowl returns tonight after approximately 4 weeks off for various reasons. I thought i would add an update as to how the results have gone so far and the current table. The results have been mixed so far with four teams all picking up 1 win each and the race for the top 2 and the final could still go either way as its still very early in the season. Mark is surging ahead for the most casualties so far with 11 compared to my own (Jarv) 6, followed by Jon on 3. Emma is the top Touchdown scorer so far with 5 from me and Jen who have 4.

The MVP in the Final for the winning team receives the skill fan Favourite permanently

An MVP award (5 SPP) will be awarded to the player who leads the league in the following categories each season: MVPs, Completions, Casualties, Touchdowns, and Interceptions. Ties result in no award.

Teams who lead the league in Casualties For, Best Offence and Best Defence at the end of the regular season will each receive a 25 000gp prize, awarded after the playoffs.
