So the summer F1 break is almost at an end….Yay!. I love Spa, its my favourite race of the season, its nearly always eventful and usually a good race. I found it interesting that Red Bull, on a track which should have suited them through the fast corners they have been talking down their chances. I wonder whether this has anything to do with the more stringent checks the FIA are introducing from this weekend on the front wings.
…
I really hope this race exceeds my expectations, Unfortunately Valencia always seems to be a procession of a race which is punctuated by a safety car or two. The setting of the circuit is very nice and all that, it has its bridge as a gimmick but in terms of racing its usually one of the most dull of the season.
Well wasn't that a fantastic race several different leaders at times and a genuine surprise that the tyres didn't hold up. Canada was one of the most entertaining races of the whole season and without any weather problems too. The tyres wearing more than expected is just what the season needs, which is what I said they should do back in oh about 2002/2003, get rid of re-fuelling and make the tyres wear a lot if driven aggressively.
