About The New Hut

The New Hut is a combination of Jarv's / Steve Jarvis's blog and a community for anyone who wants to be part of it. The New Hut was originally set up as a tribute to "The Hut" which was a breeze block building at the top of Juggy's parents garden which we used for networked PC games and Role playing (not that kind of role playing, i mean Dungeons & Dragons and the like). Sadly for us Juggy's parents moved to france and sold the house, some of our group moved away and "Networking" fell into abandon for a few years until it was resurrected in 2009.

This website is mostly my own work and runs on the ocPortal CMS, which is by far and away the most ideal CMS (Content Management System) for the needs of this or any other community based site.
